Electronic Funds Transfer in Waterside
Waterside offers its members the option of paying monthly housing charges, Telecom charges, and EV usage fees, by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), also referred to as Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD), as well as by cheque or money order.
With EFT, housing charges are debited from the member's bank account and transferred to Waterside's bank account using the electronic funds transfer system of the Canadian Payments Association.
To get started with EFT, members must download and complete a PAD Agreement. If you are adding or changing a payment or service, please update the appropriate parts of the PAD Agreement. We will attach it to your already fully completed agreement - so you don't have to do it all again.
To join, change, or quit the CHF-BC/Telus Telecom Program, please complete the appropriate one of these three forms:
- Telecom-SignUp-Form-50-150-12Jun2018.pdf
- Telecom-Service-Upgrade-Form-50-150-22Aug2018.pdf
- Telecom-Move-Out-Form-12Jun2018.pdf
Waterside will initiate the deductions from the member's account only after receiving a completed and signed Waterside PAD Agreement form from the member.
This form provides Waterside with the member's authorization to begin the deductions, and provides Waterside with the member's banking information necessary to identify the bank and account where the money will come from.
To change the amount, date, or to cancel the PAD, a member must notify Waterside (the Finance Committee) at least ten days in advance of the effective date of the change.
Waterside does not charge members to use this service, though the member's bank may apply a small charge.
To get started, please complete the Waterside PAD Agreement form and return to the Finance Committee (Arthur, B2).
If you have questions (very likely - most people do), please contact Arthur, still in B2.
